Are you over the meme-ification of Human Design? I am. As a Reflector, I’m constantly told that I’m a unicorn, shapeshifter, and chameleon - WTF does that mean in the real world? How can I use that knowledge day to day?

The internet, especially Instagram, lacks nuance. That’s why I’m so excited to bring today’s guest, Emma Dunwoody, to dig into the real depth of Human Design!

Emma Dunwoody is a Human Design Expert, Master Coach and Behavioral Specialist who believes in the importance of being your own guru. She also hosts the #1 Global Human Design Podcast “The Human Design Podcast.” Her perspective is so refreshing because she doesn’t believe in the prescriptive nature that so many Human Design accounts try to push on the internet.

Similar to astrology, it’s important to take your entire chart into account and translate it based on YOUR truth. If you get a reading from an expert, they’re still distilling the information from their own perspective. Emma is working to teach people how to read and interpret their own charts intuitively. Stay tuned until the end, where she’ll be answering listener questions!

Chelsea: [00:00:00] What's up, everybody. Welcome back to In My Non Expert Opinion. I'm your host, Chelsea Riffe, and I'm also a podcast strategist who helps people launch and grow their podcasts. I'm also a writer. I just recently launched my sub stack, Slight Turbulence by Chelsea Riffe. Go check that out, link in the show notes.

And today we are talking about human design. Now I've talked about human design before from how to use it in business with the Dayluna founders, Dana and Shayna in episode 204. And in episode one 91, I did a solo on how I run my business as a reflector in today's episode. I switch it up as I sit down with Emma Dunwoody, the host of the number one global human design podcast.

Now, reflectors, you know, we're pretty underrepresented when it comes to social content. So I went hard for my reflectors as I'm a 6'2 reflector myself. And then we get into [00:01:00] going beyond the memification of human design. To be honest, I get pretty sick of talking about the same human design stuff that we all read online.

You know, projectors need naps and they can only work four to five hours a day. Reflectors are chameleons and unicorns, blah, blah, blah. I really don't do fluff and I find a lot of human design content to be pretty fluffy, but as soon as I saw Emma's content and listened to her podcast, I was like, oh no, we're going to get the real tea on human design.

So stay tuned. She answers listener questions at the end. So if you left one for this episode, she does answer your specific question. And if you're curious about human design in business and finances and how you can implement it into your life beyond the regular degular HD Instagram content, then this episode is for you.

Recently, I've had two people sign up to work with me, and I love to figure out how people find me and where they came from. So I found out one came from listening to me on another podcast, and the second person came from catching a webinar that I hosted for a travel [00:02:00] company. This all proves my point that you do not need to be on social media to be successful or make money.

I've been making this point on this podcast for probably the last two years and really hope that you know, social media can be the sprinkles on top of your cake, not the whole cake. I personally grow my email list and my podcast by borrowing other people's audiences, meaning I gain access to an already warm group of like minded people by guest teaching.
